Summary
PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DUTIES OF THE ROLE. The post holder(s) will be part of the Lifecycle Service which includes the Childrens team and Adult Talking Therapies. The post holder will work with children and young people who have a range of common mental health problems predominately in the school environment with high volume low intensity interventions in a training capacity. They will use evidence-based interventions predominantly Low Intensity CBT, deliver evidence based group work interventions to parents and children, support schools in the development and delivery of whole school approach and support education staff with consultations, advice, signposting and training. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. To meet targets that are set within the service. To successfully undertake training on the child and young persons Educational Mental Health Practitioner Post Graduate Diploma training course.
