Escape are working with their client based in Fife who are a market and technological leader in their industry.
Due to the growing order book success, the company has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Welding Engineer to join their engineering team.
A competitive salary will be offered depending on experience/qualification along with the opportunity to become IWT qualified, working Monday to Friday day shift
We are looking to speak with candidates who are CSWIP Certified Qualified Welding Inspectors with the knowledge of multiple welding process's.
You will also have proven experience in :-
- Liaising directly with the client and internal departments about welding engineering requirements.
- Development, qualification, and application of welding procedures. Preparing/reviewing all welding procedures and weld procedure qualifications to ensure their suitability for the required contract (relevant national/international standards and client specification).
- Qualification and renewing of welder performance qualifications. Ensuring all welders/welding operators are qualified to perform the production work required. Ensuring welders and weld operators qualifications are maintained.
