Summary

​Support Worker ​

Hourly Rate: £12 per hour​ (+ enhancements for complex service and for night working and sleep in duties)​
Annual earning potential: £24,960​

Hours: 40 hours per week​
​Location: Plymouth
​Essential: Female-only, Full UK driver’s license *​

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and forward-thinking person and are excited to be recruiting a Support Worker to support individuals across our Plymouth services.​​

About the Role: ​

Your role would involve supporting people with all aspects of day-to-day living, some aspects of personal care, in their homes and out in the community. The people you would support have a range of interests which include going to cinema, disco, picnic in the park, trampolining. They also enjoy walking into town for a coffee, shopping and exploring different places by bus or train.  If you share these interests, then this could be a great opportunity for you to work in an environment that combines your shared interests with your career.   ​

About the usual working pattern:​

You would work on an open Rota providing cover over one or more of our Plymouth Supported Living Services (i.e., during leave, training, or other absences), giving you the opportunity to make a real difference to multiple people we support. This includes 14-hour shifts and sleep-in duties. We aim to allocate your hours 4 weeks ahead so that your work/life balance is of quality also. ​

* We are looking for a driver with Full UK Driving license ​

* Female – For occupational requirement reasons we are looking to appoint a female only for this post (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9). ​
