The Training Accreditation Officer is responsible for ensuring DVSA meets its statutory obligations in relation approving centre and course applications for Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), Dangerous Goods (ADR) and Drink Drive Rehabilitation (DDR). The post-holder will have line management responsibility.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and approving a sample of applications received for Driver CPC course and centre approvals, and all DDR centre applications.
- Monitoring, supporting and providing resilience, if needed, with the subsequent inputting of these courses to DVSA's recording and Evidencing System (R&E).
- Reviewing and approving applications for DVSA’s Earned Recognition Authorised Audit Providers (ER AAP).
- Processing all ADR applications and take ownership for resolving application queries within agreed service standards.
- Work with colleagues in the branch to ensure the effective ongoing delivery of statutory schemes.
