Summary

A great opportunity to support students at varying levels of learning ability within an average sized secondary school in Bolton.
- Full-time Teaching Assistant required to start ASAP.
- Fixed term contract for the rest of the academic year (July 2024) in the first instance.
- Supporting students with additional learning needs within the classroom.
- Secondary school - close by to the area of Bolton.
- Ofsted graded 'Good'.
- Earn up to £1700 per month.

Our client secondary school is set in a modern building with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Most classrooms have interactive whiteboards which can be used to provide different approaches to learning.

The incoming teaching assistant will be providing 1:1 and small group support within the classroom to ensure all pupils have the guidance they require. Prospective candidates will ideally have experience working alongside young people previously. Any direct experience with children who have additional learning needs or SEN is also desirable.

The school is located in Bolton and is a short drive from the M62 motorway and is accessible from surrounding areas such as Salford and Wigan. Being close to Horwich, the school is also accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas of Bolton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
