Summary

Job Title: KS3 Tutor Job Description Job Duties:


- Provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.

- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to facilitate academic progress.

- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.

- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment.

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and challenges.

- A valid teaching qualification in the UK.

- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.

- Strong understanding of KS3 curriculum and educational practises.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

- At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN.

- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

- Strong classroom management skills.

- Proficiency in using educational technology.

- Additional certifications in Special Education.

- Experience working in a SEN-specific setting.

- Temporary position with full-time hours.

- Salary range of £20-£30 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
