Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail.
- Manage and lead the restaurant team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of service.
- Monitor and manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure the timely and quality preparation of dishes.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the restaurant is well-stocked.
- Plan and execute promotional events, seasonal menus, and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Restaurant Manager with a passion for Indian cuisine and familiarity with the dishes offered at The Hailstone Restaurant.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including financial management, inventory control, and health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
