Working for a clothing manufacturing company working with multiple global clothing lines
Your new role
- Process vendor invoices and other payment requests, verify the accuracy of payment information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle employee expense requests in accordance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Handle invoice coding into the accounting system, ensuring proper authorisation and approval.
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for accrual and related reconciliations.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned, working as part of the finance team.
VAT Statutory Reporting:
- Assist VAT reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) regulations.
- Verify VAT calculations and ensure proper documentation for reclaimable VAT.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and submit VAT returns promptly.
