Summary
**Job Title:** Office Administrator
**Location:** Malvern WR14
**Salary: ** Up to £25,000
**Hours: ** 9am 5pm
You will be responsible for all aspects of pre-production, ensuring the smooth transition from sales to production. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication with various departments and customers.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Monitor production dates and inform the sales team of any potential delays to ensure timely deliveries.
* Issue planning lists to the production team and generate weekly staffing level reports.
* Maintain and update the bill of materials, ensuring timely follow-ups with relevant parties.
* Prepare job packs with all necessary paperwork accurately inserted.
* Check pricing upon receipt of purchase orders for accuracy.
* Provide weekly updates to customers regarding their orders.
* Communicate with the production team about any jobs with tight deadlines.
* Conduct daily meetings to review upcoming orders.
* Assist with print and stock orders as needed.
* Ensure production tasks are completed and checked off as scheduled.
* Monitor the 7-day list and coordinate with the Purchasing Manager to order necessary raw materials.
**Experience:**
* Previous experience in a pre-production or administrative role
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with production planning software or ERP systems.
* Experience in the packaging industry is desired, but not essential.
