Summary

You will participate in the conduct of an exciting clinical trial programme based in the Cardiovascular Research Unit (CVRU) at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, led by Professor Rob Storey. This trial programme encompasses a number of studies that extend work developing novel treatments for patients with heart attacks and other thrombotic conditions. Duties include all aspects of supporting cardiovascular clinical trials, including patient recruitment and reporting of results. You will also contribute to the Cardiology clinical service for up to 50% of your time. You will have the opportunity to study for a higher degree.

You will have a medical degree and hold full GMC registration as well as MRCP.

The post is available immediately and is fixed-term for 1 year.
