Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Defence Infrastructure Organisation which is a business unit within the MoD and is 2 years into a contract change with the Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS). FDIS incorporates three key principles of Excellent Performance from Suppliers and DIO, Empathetic handling of Customer and Families and Improved Customer Communications. The post of Housing Estate Manager is multifaceted and necessitates tasks carried out at both the desktop and on the MoD Estate. The
successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starter who is able to manage and prioritise workloads according to contract deliverables
and risk based analysis and to establish relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships that promote collaboration between a range of stakeholders that support continual improvement. Forward thinking, ability to see the
bigger picture with an awareness of sustainability concepts, able to produce novel ideas that contribute to the 'lived experience'. An
awareness of contract compliance principles that drive performance results and a determination to change and improve especially when difficult situations arise. Demonstrate a personal dedication to the DIO Guiding Principles and 'Safety First' value.
