Are you passionate about technology and providing exceptional support? Join the Store Technology team at Card Factory Group as an Application Support Analyst and play a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless operation of our business.

As an Application Support Analyst, you’ll leverage your knowledge of store technology, ERP systems, and data platforms to drive solutions. With your strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and adaptability, you’ll excel in implementing technical changes and interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Role Responsibility

  • Provide 2nd line support for a diverse range of store technology applications.
  • Work closely with the Service Team to track and resolve issues, ensuring clear communication with end-users.
  • Engage in proactive monitoring and scheduled maintenance to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate on key projects, offering your technical expertise to drive improvements.
  • Technical Problem Management: Dive deep into technical issues to find root causes and long-lasting solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all store tech solutions are fully operational and provide guidance to enhance user experience.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Stay ahead of potential issues with vigilant application monitoring and maintenance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification and implementation of better operational practices.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working in retail environment providing 2nd line support
  • Working knowledge of Store Technology applications (EPOS Systems, IM2 Retail)
  • Understanding of ERP Systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012))
  • Systems Integration and Data Transformation Platforms (Dell Boomi, SSIS)
  • Reporting Technologies (SSRS, Power BI)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Highly organised, able to plan, co-ordinate and implement technical changes and multiple tasks concurrently to a high standard.
  • Good technical documentation skills
  • Able to interact with users and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Be adaptable to meet the changing needs of the business.
