We are recruiting for aSolutions Architect- EPRwho shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The role plays a key part in supporting the design and delivery of our EPR upgrade programme, Dedalus - Orbis U. A first of its kind implementation in the NHS, Orbis U represents a significant step forward in our digital transformation journey at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.

This is an exciting and challenging role that will make a real digital difference for our clinical and operational colleagues, as well as our patients and the wider Hertfordshire community.

In this high-profile role, you will be responsible for defining end-to-end clinical systems architecture on strategic and stand-alone digital projects. Working closely with clinical leads across the Trust, you will lead the design, specification, and delivery of clinical systems to transform our digital landscape and enhance patient care. With the ability to visualise the bigger picture, you'll anticipate longer-term requirements and create optimal design solutions. You will work with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, from concept through to solution, so the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships is vital to the success of this role.

The Solutions Architect- EPRwill be responsible for the delivery of the solution’s architecture for key digital strategy programs (including, but not limited EPR, EPMA, LIMS.).

They will be able to visualise the big picture, anticipate longer-term requirements and create optimal solution design working with internal and external Solutions providers.

Work with Digital Director of Solutions and Delivery on the development and delivery of Digital Roadmaps.

Work with Clinical teams and Product Mangers to define system requirements from project conception through Delivery.

Create and document conceptual, logical, and physical system architectures and specifications.

Understand current technology landscape, business vision and define target architectures.

Guide individual project teams on preparing required architecture, solution design documentation that meets expected standards and ensure project teams go through the architecture reviews successfully.

Partner with program/project managers to define project plans and reporting metrics.

Provide expertise in data architecture standards and data integration.
Accountable for day-to-day support and development of the Trust Integration engine.

Ensure that all new systems are fully integrated, and that the data flow supports the business practice.

Ensure that all system upgrades or changes do not affect the data flow between the systems.
