About the role
Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to work on our Thames Water Infrastructure programme covering Thames Valley. This role will oversee the delivery of Thames Water’s Trunk Mains Leakage, ensuring all deliverables are safely delivered in line with our client’s expectations.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the safe, on time, and efficient delivery of projects, leading a team of professionals as well as being the point of contact for the Client. You will also deliver operational objectives to support Thames Water in meeting their performance commitments including achieving high levels of compliance with Water UK performance metric targets. This involves supporting the maximisation of cash collection and margin, while maintaining an excellent relationship with Thames Water.
You will be collaborating with Client Asset Planners, designers and delivery teams throughout the Target Cost Setting, design and delivery phases of a project. Ensuring projects are delivered in a safe, efficient, timely way and promoting best practice in quality management.

You will be ensuring compliance with MWS procedures to support the delivery of world class health and safety, customer and quality performance, and compliance with MWS environmental processes and procedures.

You will be delivering excellent customer service and achieving above target customer satisfaction scores to minimise/reduce the number of complaints received. Increasing productivity, without compromising on safety and continuously drive efficiency. Assisting in maximising cash collection, and minimising work in progress to deliver targeted margin.

The Key Requirements

Do you have experience of working in the water industry? This is essential for this role.
Do you have a degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction?
Have you gained management training, such as Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5, or equivalent?
Do you have NEBOSH National Certificate (General or Construction), SMSTS and Water Hygiene?
Are you an experienced leader with proven track record in leading multidiscipline teams?
Can you deliver against operational targets?
Are you commercially aware, engaged and able to build relationships with key client and supply chain contacts, and committed to delivering the highest health and safety standards?
Can you deliver excellent customer service?
Have you gained experience in an operational manager role, alongside infrastructure delivery and managing designers and subcontractors?
