Summary
A leading mortgage organization in Chippenham is expanding and seeks a Mortgage Administrator / Coordinator.
Salary: £23,500 per annum
Work Schedule:
- Hybrid: Three days working from home, two days in the Chippenham office
- Monday to Friday
- Choice of 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm shifts
Contract:
- Fixed-term six-month contract with the potential to become permanent
- Salary: £23,000 per annum, plus bonus

Role Overview: You will support the Regional Sales Directors and Broker Services Team by providing comprehensive assistance throughout the application process. Key responsibilities include:
- Vetting and assessing the suitability of new recruits for FCA registration.
- Managing applications for advisers, lead generators, and introducers.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and conducting due diligence.
- Maintaining accurate records in the Broker Services Workflow system.
- Collaborating with the Broker Services Team to manage workflow and service levels.
- Providing ongoing support to customers post-appointment.
- Handling ad-hoc projects and supporting the network's values and objectives.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Intermediate IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and self-motivation
- Experience in building successful relationships with stakeholders
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Companies House and FCA requirements for adviser recruitment
- Experience in financial services administration
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and meet quality standards
- Experience in an administrative role; property and mortgage experience is advantageous but not essential
- Proficient in Excel
