About the role:
Activate Learning is a pioneering education group which exists to transform lives through learning. We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring A-Level Physics Teacher to join our Reading College team on a part time basis.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drives who are committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.
This is a permanent, part-time role of 27.5 hours per week (0.74 FTE).
In this position, Physics Teacher, you may be eligible to apply for an additional payment of up to £6000 from the leveling up premium payment scheme. What do you need to be a successful Physics Teacher at Activate Learning?
Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree preferably with some teaching experience. Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
