Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Location: Castleton, Derbyshire, S33 Area.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.


About The Company:

Continual investment especially in the latest machinery, has resulted in substantial manufacturing and assembly capabilities to cover a broad and comprehensive range of disciplines and technologies.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced Tool Room Machinist to join their team.

Key Duties (But not limited to):

• Manufacture of application tooling to support customer delivery requirements, utilising all aspects of manual and CNC machining including turning, grinding, milling and hardening, to tight deadlines.
• Repair and service high speed progression tools and attend press when necessary to overcome any production issues.
• Repair and service injection mould tools.
• Order tooling material and spares from suppliers as required.
• Aid production with any tooling requirements.
• Manufacture new jigs / fixtures and test prior to release.
• Strict adherence to internal controls and procedures, including Health & Safety.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience of press and mould tools.
• Ability to read Engineering drawings, both metric and imperial dimensions.
• Be proficient in the use of precision / optical measuring equipment.
• Confident working with small precision parts and tight tolerances.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Use of CAD, Inventor/Autocad would be advantageous.
• Confident working independently and have a proven track record in the aspects of this role.
• Motivated with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
