Summary

The Community Relationship Fundraiser, supporting our donors in the North area of our catchment, works within the Relationship Fundraising team. You will be line-managed by our Relationship Fundraising Manager, Ellie Gale. Ellie has been with the hospice for two years, and in this time has progressed from fundraiser to ‘Manager’ level, and implemented and developed a high performing community income stream. You will work closely with a Community Relationship Fundraiser who will support our donors in the south of our catchment and your team of peers will include a Challenge Events Relationship fundraiser as well as our events and corporate fundraisers. As with all of the wider income generation team, our fundraisers at St Clare Hospice have achieved significant success, across the whole team we are committed to professional development and will support you to grow your skills and knowledge.

Job Summary:

• The role of the Community Relationship Fundraiser - North is to engage with the local community and to champion the relationship fundraising ethos and practices.
• The Community Relationship Fundraiser – North will be crucial to supporting the fundraising efforts at St Clare Hospice, maximising income from a range of events and campaigns whilst engaging with the local community.
• The post holder is accountable for the development and delivery of community fundraising activities.
• This is a busy role that requires multi-tasking and managing conflicting priorities on a day-to-day basis as well as the planning and management of complex Fundraising activities.
