Summary


As part of the Care Sector Transformation Programme working with partners across the health and social care system to support and implement a wide range of improvements for service users across the regulated care sector.

The post holder will provide a central co-ordinating and administrative function for the programme ensuring systems in place to maintain an accurate overview of project work streams and programmes within the portfolio and develop and build and strengthen relationships with regulated care sector.

Working with other ICB team members appointed as part of the Programme team. The post holder will ensure that all reporting requirements are met in the agreed timescale and will be responsible for all related meeting arrangements including prompt preparation and distribution of agenda, papers, minutes and action trackers, in line with the agreed objectives.

This will be varied and will adapt over time as the ICB develops. However, the postholder is expected to fulfil the following key functions:-
• Provide administrative support for all related meetings which will include preparation of agenda, minute taking, following up on actions, collating and preparing reports with graphics/data and ensuring their appropriate distribution.
• Assess, prioritise and initiate work and responses from the Programme Group.
• Collate and maintain project plans and supporting documentation.
• Update the Project Implementation Plan monthly and prepare associated reports.
• Build new and strengthen existing relations with the regulated care sector.
• Develop systems to monitor and forecast delivery of workstream projects, identifying risks to achieving outcomes against planned timescales.
• Track the progress of key documents and chase outstanding actions where applicable.
• Draft reports, PowerPoint presentations, etc. as requested based on information within the Programme Management Office.
• Assess, prioritise and initiate work and responses in colleagues' absence to ensure critical activities are maintained.

The Lancashire and South Integrated Care Board (ICB) was formally established as a new statutory body on 1 July 2022, replacing the eight clinical commissioning groups across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Our role is to join up health and care services, improve people's health and wellbeing, and to make sure everyone has the same access to services and gets the same outcomes from treatment. We also oversee how money is spent and make sure health services work well and are of high quality.

Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB is a highly complex organisation serving a population of over 1.8 million people.

The post holder will have regular contact with a wide range of staff at all levels within the ICB, with senior and other representatives of local stakeholders, as well as with patients and their representatives. Some of the key direct relationships include:

• Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB leadership teams
• Chief Information Officers / Digital Leads
• Clinical Leaders
• Colleagues within NHSE/I
• Senior leaders across Lancashire and South Cumbria, NHS, local authorities and other third sector organisations
