Positions: Part-Time (21 Hours Per Week)
Location: Darlington DL1 (9 min Drive from Darlington Memorial Hospital)

About the People We Support

We support one lady and one gentleman in their 40s-60s who love:

- Horse-riding

- Walking

- Baking

- Swimming

- Music

- Spending time in their beautiful garden

The people we support have learning disabilities, diabetes, autism, and additional needs. We help them live their lives as independently as possible within their own home. Your role will include providing emotional reassurance during moments of distress, with full positive behaviour support training provided. Friendly, patient, and reliable support workers who take an active interest in their hobbies and activities would be wonderful matches.

What Will You Be Doing?

Empowering Independence: Support them to live their lives how they choose, be themselves, and achieve their personal goals.
Daily Support: Provide full personal care, some wheelchair assistance, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Flexible Shift Patterns

Long Day Sleep-Ins: 8am - 8am the following day (£45 per sleep-in shift)
Day Shift: 10am - 5pm
Day Shift: 10am - 4pm (flexible depending on activities)

We're looking for people with the flexibility to work a combination of shifts on a rota basis which includes weekend working. Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance, which we're very passionate about!
