CNC MACHINIST
Nottinghamshire, Derby, Leicester!
PERMANENT, TEMPORARY, TEMP-PERM
Ristara Engineering are working in partnership with 4 of the east midlands most dynamic Aerospace companies. Our clients manufacture complex components for engines and airframes ranging from turbine blades to wing ribs, these are critical applications so there is no room for error with a huge emphasis on quality for materials and processes.
The fast paced and dynamic environments are ideally suited for candidates who wish to thrive, learn and excel. We are looking for skilled OR semi skilled CNC MACHINISTS to join one of the teams across the midlands. With sites in Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Leicester there must be a position waiting for you!
CNC MACHINIST Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as TURNING, MILLING, GRINDING, etc.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine machining operations
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a CNC MACHINIST or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Familiarity with materials handling and safety procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
