Summary

Cyber Security at the University of South Wales is an exciting and rapidly expanding area. The growth of the National Cyber Security Academy in Newport, and the Thales National Digital Exploitation Centre in Ebbw Vale are key strategic developments for the University, alongside developments overseas.


The role is based at Pontypridd, this role will provide you with a role where you can utilize your range of research and analysis skills.


We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a good background in cybersecurity, particularly in the context of automotive systems. The ideal candidate should possess excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate academic literature and contribute to the generation of novel
research ideas. Additionally, strong written communication skills are essential, as the role involves drafting comprehensive grant proposals and research reports. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment are highly valued traits in our team.
