Join us as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant

  • Join our new CRM Platforms team in the Wealth Chief Digital Information office (WCDIO) and take an active part in the design and implementation of Dynamics 365 (D365) in WCDIO with specific focus on the Coutts business

  • We’ll look to you work closely across the Wealth business, and help colleagues leverage D365 as our new CRM system

What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll work closely with the Wealth business users and technology colleagues, like solutions architects, CRM, core platforms and API engineers, and other functional consultants to support the design and delivery of a large scale transformation. This will include process re-design, simplification and automation, and delivery of operational efficiencies for frontline and operational colleagues, across all our core client journeys, leveraging D365 as our new CRM system.

In line with the overarching Wealth strategy, you’ll understand, and challenge business needs across multiple client journeys, acting as a thought partner to the business, leveraging D365 and Power Platform out-of-the box components as much as possible. You’ll build, manage and maintain positive working relationship with frontline and operational business colleagues, technology teams in Wealth and across the bank, aiming to re-use existing patterns and components when relevant, and third party suppliers.

You’ll also be:

  • Producing business requirements underpinning future state re-engineered and streamlined processes, focusing on data and capabilities re-use

  • Leading workshops and interacting with colleagues, key stakeholders and the team to design streamlined, re-engineered processes promoting automation and standardisation, and documenting functional and non-functional needs

  • Capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they’re in line with key strategic principles and agreed redesigned processes

  • Promoting re-use across multiple client journeys, to be used by our solution architect, CRM engineers and QA testers to deliver our programmes as effectively as possible

  • Configuring low code components of D365 and Power Apps to meet clients’ needs and promote rapid adaption to fast-changing colleagues’ and clients’ needs

  • Supporting user acceptance testing, training key users and promoting users’ adoption

The skills you'll need

You’ll need excellent business analysis skills and an in-depth understanding of the D365 and Power Platforms suite complemented by solid low code configuration skills. You’ll have a good understanding of Agile values, principles and methodologies with experience of working within an Agile environment.

You’ll also demonstrate an appetite to expand your technical knowledge to Wealth-specific systems to be integrated with D365, in particular Coutts’ core banking and online banking systems, and to keep abreast with the latest technology developments, and to act as a thought partner to business colleagues including Gen AI, Copilots and in the CRM space.

You’ll also need:

  • Excellent analytical skills and solid experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques in a financial services environment

  • Demonstrated experience of process re-engineering, simplification and automation leveraging D365 and Power Platform, focusing on D365’s out-of-the-box components, challenging the status quo

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and business colleagues and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues

  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
