Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full
- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part
- time approach where possible.Salary: £55,000
- £60,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits. Closing date: Tuesday 18th June.
The Opportunity
Are you ready to play a critical role in the construction of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects? Sizewell C Ltd is seeking two dynamic Site Compliance Officers to join our Compliance Team at our construction site in Suffolk.
Sizewell C Ltd, backed by the UK Government, is a new nuclear build power station, and once built is dedicated to providing low carbon electricity for over 6 million homes. As the SZC project advances through its construction, installation, and commissioning phases, we need your expertise to uphold our high standards of compliance.
The Role
In this exciting role, you’ll collaborate with responsible managers to guide staff, contractors, and consultants in adhering to the requirements of the Nuclear Site Licence (NSL), planning permissions, environmental consents, and lease obligations.
Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice, identifying and addressing compliance shortcomings, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll engage in both desk-based work and active onsite inspections to ensure compliance standards are met.
Compliance assessments, monitoring site activities, producing monthly compliance dashboards, and facilitating self-assessments for compliance by responsible managers will be key elements of your role.
You’ll also be instrumental in educating and mentoring the Sizewell C staff and contract partners on compliance obligations, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.

The Skills
We are looking for candidates with experience in auditing (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001), and a background in an engineering or construction environment.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.
