Based in the East Midlands, our client is an internationally recognised transportation service provider. This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to expand and develop their existing skills in the field of embedded software development. Your responsibilities as an Embedded Software Engineer include:
- Design, implement, and optimise embedded software solutions.
- Targeting Linus, RTOS & bare metal platforms.
- Participate in hardware/software co-design and system-level debugging.
- Support FAT SAT & Commissioning activity.
- Leading smaller projects, collaborating on larger ones.
- Adherence to safety and associated standards.
- Follow industry best practise whilst looking for opportunities for improvement.
Requirements as an Embedded Software Engineer include:
- Computer Science or related degree.
- 3+ years practical and relevant experience in an Embedded Systems development role
- Experience with C/C++ full SDLC, STM32, Arm9, PIC platforms, Embedded Linus, RTOS, DotNet-core, CE 6.0 frameworks and unit testing.
- Desired experience in C#, Visual Basic 6, X86, 8051, Typescript, Javascript, HTM/CSS, Python, Railway environment & standards.
