Summary


The South East Region is recruiting an Senior Frontline Digitisation SME to support the delivery of large digitally enabled change programmes to the frontline NHS, including oversight of electronic patient records deployments across multiple providers, Electronic bed management, FDP to name a few

Suitable applicants will demonstrate a track record in leading complex multi-million pound and sometimes contentious change and transformation at significant scale in the NHS coupled with the ability to go beyond implementation to achieve successful and sustained adoption and benefits realisation.

You will work as part of a dynamic regional team with strong influencing and negotiating skills in order to broker best value for the six Integrated Care Systems (ICS’s) and the diagnostic networks in partnership with national colleagues and the supplier community.

Main duties are:

· To oversee and take direct responsibility for ICS roll out of secondary care digitalization programmes across the Southeast Region such as EPR’s, digitalizing diagnostics, dynamic discharge support, optimizing waiting lists, e-Bed and capacity management and smart system controls. To support other members of the team with the roll out of patient portals and the digitalizing of patient records

· Work with the Digital Change Manager and broader Digital Infrastructure and Connectivity team to ensure robust annual assessment of digital maturity and INFRAM assessments are completed, and risks and mitigations well understood and managed as part of ICB business continuity and investment planning.

· To be proficient in large digital builds and deployments including Electronic Patient Records (EPR), data engineering, data migration and data validation that is compliant with NHS business rules and data standards to support decision making, patient safety, quality, and performance reporting.

· To provide expertise to ICS and providers in NHS business rules, workflows, pathway design and service models to be able to both architect and quality assure large technology builds.

· Develop a robust approach to EPR Clear Gateway sign off and decision to proceed criteria in partnership with national team and ICS’s models including assurance at each phase including lead up, the Go-Live and post stabilization and optimization periods.
