Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Freelance Project Manager to oversee a high-end residential development project in London. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing luxury residential projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project components align with the overall objectives.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and provide regular financial updates. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and luxury. Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve conflicts and handle issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, updating them on project progress, milestones, and any changes. Ensure client satisfaction and manage expectations effectively.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring that all members understand their roles and responsibilities. Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Implement and oversee safety protocols on site.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in high-end residential development.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar). Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and lead project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to make decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed flawlessly.
