Omega Resource are now supporting a well-known and globally recognised specialist within the oil and gas industry. This company are recognised leaders in designing, developing, and manufacturing equipment for onshore and offshore applications. An Assembly & Test Technician will build and integrate mechanical and electronic components for In-Line Inspection equipment and conduct tests on assembled systems to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities – Assembly & Test Technician
• Build and integrate mechanical and electronic components for In-Line Inspection equipment.
• Conduct tests on assembled systems to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
• Diagnose and repair any mechanical or electronic problems in ILI systems.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of ILI systems.
• Record assembly procedures, modifications, and test results accurately.
• Work with engineering and field teams to ensure proper installation and operation of ILI equipment.
• Ensure smooth and secure operations of computer and network systems, regularly performing maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications & Requirements – Assembly & Test Technician
• HNC or HND in an engineering discipline.
• Basic understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Electronic Technology,
• Can use hand tools and power tools proficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices using schematics and drawings.
