The Role – Concierge (This is a casual role covering annual leave and weekend bank holidays 7am to 7pm)
To assist in the general running and upkeep of a residential development. Provide a safe, secure and well-maintained environment. Maintain the highest standards, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered to the Residents/ Company and its client/development. To foster good relations with the residents and ensure that the development is managed to a very high standard.
Duties/Key Responsibilities
• Provide a high standard of customer service to residents, clients, and guests. To be welcoming, friendly, polite and smart at all times.
• To co-ordinate the day to day running of the building/estate liaising with residents to ensure all relevant information is communicated correctly and efficiently
• Notify tenants to collect parcels if parcels are left by delivery companies
• Minor maintenance changing light bulbs, turn off water stopcocks, contact emergency contractor in event of a leak
• Move large industrial bins out to collection point on a Sunday before shift ends ready for collection on a Monday morning
• Statutory health and safety checks of the building/development
• Management of key holding and contractor attendance
• General Admin
• Any other tasks as directed by the Estate Management Team
Skills
• Maintain high ethical standards, professionalism and customer service
• A knowledge and expereince of minor maintenance
• Ability to resolve complaints effectively and within procedures
• Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
• Flexible approach and can-do attitude
• Friendly and helpful, polite, and courteous
• Prior experience of working with the public is essential in customer facing capacity
