Summary
Overview:
MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Drivers for a Global company based in Wednesbury. This company is the industry leading manufacturer and distributor of furniture.
Duties:
Please note while training you will not be driving; you will be acting as the driver’s assistant to learn all aspects of the role before moving to Driver.
• Delivering anywhere between 6 to 19 drops per day
• Delivering and installing products to customers houses
• Calling customers to let them know an estimated time of arrival.
• Long distance drops
• Some products can be heavier than others and you will need to move all products.
The ideal candidate needs:
• Have an in date driving license.
• Must have 3 years+ of driving experience.
• Not have more than 6 points on license.
• Great customer service
• Good communication skills
Hours:
5 Days a week, 5 out of 6 Saturdays, when working a Saturday, you get a rotated day off in the week.
6:30am – 3:30pm – please note due to delivery distances and other factors this can vary.
Full Time – 39.5 Hours
Temp to Perm
Pay:
£13.35 per hour
Overtime opportunities in peak seasons.
