We have a very exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a late Shift Manager at our South Midlands Mail Centre, helping us to continue to improve and deliver the best service.
The role
This is a role where you can take control and make a difference. With 9 direct reports, who in turn look after 250-280 staff on shift, our employees and engineers will look to you to lead the way.
- You’ll motivate the team to achieve their best every day, work with them over time to help them develop and reach their potential with a focus on wellbeing initiatives.
- You'll be accountable for the performance of the shift, in particular H&S, lead on continuous improvement activities and have budget, finance and asset management responsibilities.
- Acheive operational targets, each one critical to improving our offering to customers, saving them money on a fast, high quality service.
Shift patterns: 13:48 - 22:12, Monday to Friday. A degree of flexibility is required to meet operational demands.

You need to be flexible, can work under pressure and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
