As a Drainage and Excavation Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Previous experience in drainage, excavation, or construction is essential
• Ability to operate excavation machinery and hand tools.
• Knowledge of drainage systems and installation techniques
• This role requires physical strength and stamina
• Ensure all work is performed accurately and to high standards
• Ability to work well alone and within a team and communicate effectively
• Strong commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines
What will your role look like?
• Performing Excavation Tasks: Operate machinery and hand tools to dig and prepare sites for drainage systems
• Installing Drainage Systems: Install new drainage systems, Manholes, surface water systems to include land drainage to current regulations.
• Site Preparation and Cleanup: Prepare sites for excavation safely and ensure all work areas are left clean and safe
• Maintenance and Repairs: Inspect and maintain existing drainage systems, performing necessary repairs
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other operatives and site managers to complete projects on time and to specification
