We are looking for a friendly, flexible and conscientious person to join our small team of Domestic Assistants at Berwick Infirmary

This post is for 15 hrs per week, currently worked between Monday - Friday 4pm - 7pm, however some flexibility will be required to fit with the service need.

Other hours may also be available.

Examples of the tasks that we carry out are:

Cleaning of floor areas as scheduled by means of vacuuming, mopping, buffing and spray cleaning.

Undertake “deep cleans” in areas where infection is present.

Removal of rubbish including domestic and clinical waste from designated areas to disposal point.

Damp dusting of all surfaces, ledges, shelves, curtain rails.

Cleaning of internal glass and external hand washing facilities.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all work areas.

Carry out any urgent spot cleaning and spillage when required.

Other tasks as deemed appropriate.
