Community Outreach team is Partnered with the Disability Social work team in the Isle of Man, together we offer a variety of activities across the whole of the island which include shopping, swimming and cooking. It’s a person-centred service, catering to the needs of the individual.
As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire you will become part of a fantastic team. You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, lead with passion and enthusiasm promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
This is a challenging yet exciting opportunity, offering you the chance to grow and develop as a member of the Leonard Cheshire team, further enhancing your already successful career as a care professional.

To be successful in this role you will:
• Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Have experience in supervising a team.
• Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
• Be experienced in working within a care setting.
• Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
