Summary
This is a new post and, working with the current post-holder, we’re looking for a customer focussed individual to deliver our package of pre-tenancy support initiatives. This post ensures we offer our customers every opportunity to manage their tenancies successfully from the very start. This position is for 18.5 hours per week and we offer a flexible work pattern, to be agreed.
Working with new and existing customers, and our housing staff, you will provide a comprehensive service that delivers best practice in tenancy support. You will have good knowledge of social housing and tenancy management coupled with an excellent understanding of welfare benefits, including Universal Credit. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as experience of delivering presentations and workshops to customers and staff.
To be successful in this role you will have an organised approach to managing your workload and be able to work without direct supervision. Experience of monitoring and recording data are also essential. A driving licence and use of your own vehicle are required as is a good working knowledge of IT.
A DBS check will be required for the successful applicant as part of our pre-employment checks.
