Requirements:
- Ability to do night shifts or rotated shift.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in picking and packing, is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills for updating inventory records.
Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will:
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick pet food products from warehouse inventory. Pack items securely, ensuring that products are well-protected during transit.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by counting stock and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on pet food items to ensure they meet health and safety standards and are not damaged or expired.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse tidy and organized, adhering to company standards and safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
