Summary

Maintenance & Building Development Admin Support.
Full Time – 40 Hours Per Week – Monday to Friday.
British Garden Centres are currently going through a period of sustained growth, and we currently have a Maintenance & Building Development Admin Support role available to help take our business to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

Based at Louth Garden Centre this is a fast paced and busy environment where we continuously have new projects and development work on the go. You will be working in a small team who are involved in business development and maintenance plans from brand new buildings to refurbishments.

Duties include:
• Communicating with contractors and other people across the business.
• Track costs against projects.
• Ordering and organising of resources such as materials.
• Monitoring and liaising with stakeholders.
• Obtaining quotes.
• Producing documents required for project and development work.
• Working alongside a small team of Maintenance and Development Managers as the administrative support.
• Creating and updating workflows.
• Sourcing new contractors and creating new opportunities.
• Updating contractor records.
• Meeting all Health and Safety criteria for development work.
• Look after compliance and organise.

Requirements of the role – Essential:
• Excellent organisation and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• The ability to manage and work on numerous projects at one time.
• Problem-solving and creative-thinking skills
• Approachable with good communication skills

Requirements of the role – Preferable bit not essential:
• Experience on project/development/maintenance admin.
• Experience of working with budgets
• Experience of working with contractors.
