Guy is a lovely 15-year-old boy who is happy to attend school. He has a diagnosis of autism and developmental delay; he lives with his mum who is his main and sole carer. Guy's behaviour has been escalating recently with him displaying aggressive behaviour towards his mum. This new aggression is under investigation and may potentially be a sign of headaches and head pain.

Guy enjoys music therapy, spending time on his iPad and getting creative with his Arts and Crafts materials. Guy really enjoys being creative in the kitchen and loves nothing better than to bake his favourite cakes and biscuits. Guy is motivated by food and enjoys visiting restaurants.

Due to the nature of Guy’s health issues Guy needs regular consistent routines and can become dysregulated if new things are introduced too quickly so a patient Personal Assistant with an understanding of Autism and developmental delay is required. Guy is over 6ft tall and as such is extremely strong when he becomes dysregulated. This position would be best suited to a male personal assistant who has a good level of fitness.

Guy likes to visit the Alan Shearer Centre and the Tim Lamb Centre and up until recently really enjoyed horse riding which he would potentially like to get back into.
