This exciting opportunity as part of our food and beverage team is for a Whisky Sommelier who is a trained and knowledgeable professional, a specialist in Whisky. With a deep understanding of the history, production processes, tasting notes and appropriate pairings of different types of Whisky you are dedicated and passionate with a commitment to continual learning and professional development.
Aspiring to be one of the finest Whisky experiences in the world. You introduce our members and their guests to the art of Whisky tasting; through assessing the aroma, flavour, colour and the different finishes. Identifying nuances and characteristics of various whisky styles and brands.
A true Ambassador in every meaning of the word you organise tasting events and help your audience learn more about the brands and products. Providing recommendations based on preference and tastes making the whole experience fun, educational and interesting.
An excellent public speaker you can discern and describe flavours, aromas and textures with a natural ability to convey information clearly and engagingly through your in-depth understanding of Whisky production, regions, brands and history.
As curator of our Whisky culture, you build and grow our rare collection in adding to some of the most expensive Whisky’s in the world. Stock-taking and inventory control of each bottle stored and each dram that is served.

You are a Whisky Sommelier, a trained and knowledgeable professional who specialises in Whisky. With a deep understanding of the history, production processes, tasting notes and can pair different types of Whisky’s. Using some of the most eloquent glassware in the industry we will give you the opportunity to get creative and will back your ideas.
To be successful you will have attention to detail to be able to deliver a luxury experience with a warm, casual style letting your genuine personality shine through. You will get to know and build relationships with the members; their families and friends as you welcome them time and time again.
You exude a positive attitude taking pride in a job well done, celebrating success and enjoy being part of a team. Warm and friendly you have a genuine interest in people with a willing ‘can do’ approach and open to seeking advice and support when needed.
