Summary
Rapier Employment are recruiting for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Chepstow and Avonmouth.
Location: Chepstow & Avonmouth
Pay: £14.92 - £18.63 per hour
Hours: AM, PM, nights available. Must be able to work either a Saturday or Sunday.
Job description:
- Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any questions or concerns that may arise during deliveries.
- Pre-trip & post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
- Class 2 work will be required at times. This is a total of between 1-4 drops. This will be paid at the Class 1 rates.
- Work between both sites in Chepstow and Avonmouth depending on site requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driving licence with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
