About the role

We have a great opportunity for someone who is interested in taking the next step in their career in Procurement and /or looking for a new challenge to join our busy and expanding team as either a Senior Procurement Coordinator.

The purpose of this role is to deliver Procurement projects across a portfolio of Goods, Services and Works for all PCH group companies. The role will also develop and contribute the continuous organisational upskilling and improvement of procurement and commercial practices focusing on value for money, supply chain risk and contract management and social value across the organisation.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:

Has experience of working within a procurement team and an understanding of tender, RFQ, RFI processes. Some experience of working within an organisation governed by Public Contract Regulations, would be good, but not essential
Has excellent planning, organising, data handling and presentation skills.
Has the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, customers, stakeholders and contractors with a customer focussed and friendly approach
Can confidently and accurately use IT packages including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
