Summary
Immediate Start - 18.5 hours per week
6-month Contract
£30,825 per annum pro rata
Supported Self Help is a psycho-educational programme designed to provide early intervention. This role is to deliver a facilitated mental health self-help service to adults. The service is delivered on the telephone.
1. To provide and effectively deliver a facilitated self-help service for a maximum of 6 sessions.
2. To be responsible for a client caseload of people accessing the service and effectively manage all client contact.
3. To work with people to overcome early signs of mental health distress such as anxiety, depression and stress.
4. To deliver the service and where necessary signpost/actively refer to other services.
5. To follow a set programme via a facilitated self-help model, including referring people to higher levels of intervention when required.
6. To accurately and efficiently manage all administration processes.
7. To deliver an effective service to meet set Service Level Agreement targets.
8. To promote/publicise the service and establish positive customer engagement and input, as well as being involved in promoting general aspects of well-being.
9. Ensure that all recording, monitoring, reporting and evaluation forms are completed on time and accurately and are securely stored in accordance with GDPR requirements.
10. To adhere to Mind Monmouthshire policies and procedures in all activities relating to the job role, in particular the Staff Code of Conduct, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Confidentiality.
11. To promote the concepts of social inclusion, early intervention and recovery and to work within Mind Monmouthshire’s ethos and Mission Statement.
12. To undertake any training relevant to the role either internally or externally.
13. To undertake these duties within a framework that recognises the diversity of clients and encourages equal opportunity for all.
14. Keep abreast of policy, legislation and local services relating to well-being.
15. To participate in supervision and annual appraisal with the relevant manager and attend training as required.
16. To participate in clinical supervision with a clinical supervisor.
To carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by the management team.
