Summary

The HISN (High Individual support needs) Day Centre Team of 10, are based at Olympus House in Weston Favell. Providing daytime activities for Adults with High Individual support needs (our customers). Enriching their lives to be as independent and active as possible inhouse and within the Northampton community.

What will you be doing?

Providing accessible wheelchair transport services (minibus provided) to various local locations throughout the week (sometimes in house). Creating sensory and life experiences with activities such as arts, crafts, sensory activities, cooking and mobility support.

Working alongside other professionals- Speech and language, Occupational therapist, Physios and community nurses.

Support our customers with physical and emotional wellbeing and this can include personal care, support with food, medication and epilepsy. Complete paperwork and contribute to the customer's personal file.

Working Monday-Friday between 8-30am-5-00pm, with free parking.

About you

UK full clean driving license is required, as at times you will be asked to drive a 9-Seater Minibus. This can be quite physically demanding.

The role requires a person who can show kindness, compassion and is willing to learn how to understand our customers needs, over time. You really can make a difference!

You will receive constant; specialist and mentoring training - willing to work towards NVQ within Care.

WNC will undertake an enhanced DBS check.
