Summary
At Whittlebury Park we are looking for a dedicated customer service professional to join our leisure club reception team.
Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury Park offers an award-winning 254-bedroom four-star hotel, conference, and training centre. We also have Murray’s, our fine dining 3 AA Rosette winning restaurant, luxurious spa and 36-hole championship golf course.
Not to mention our Leisure club, boasting its excellent facilities including a fully equipped gym, 19 metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
What will you do?
As a member of our Leisure reception team, you will:
Deliver excellent customer service to ensure the optimum guest experience
Welcome our members, day guests and hotel residents to The Leisure Club
Deal with incoming and outgoing telephone calls, gym health and safety checks & Leisure Club shop sales
Conduct health and safety walk rounds, pool testing, food and beverage duties & liaise closely with the membership and gym teams
Maintain good knowledge of Whittlebury Park & what it can offer enhancing the guest experience and upselling of hotel facilities

This can be done in many ways, and include; being personally mentioned in any of The Leisure Clubs feedback channels from members and guests, suggesting and implementing new ideas from a new perspective to improve or enhance current systems, over delivering with the completion of reports and tasks set out by The Leisure Club Management team.
As the ideal candidate you will be passionate about the leisure and fitness industry and delivering excellent customer service. You will also have experience in working in the industry before and experience in pool testing, classes and gym operations is preferable.
The hours of work will vary and will include weekends, late evenings, and holiday periods.
This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.
