Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial and Contracts Lawyer to join Darlington Borough Counciland#39;s Commercial Legal team.andnbsp; This exciting role will involve working closely with the Counciland#39;sandnbsp; procurement team on a variety of projects, including the regeneration of the Town Centre.andnbsp;



The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive advice and drafting service on contracts, agreemnts, procurement issues and commercial property matters, and will have approx. two years post qualified working knowledge and experience of advising on and drafting contracts, agreements and commercial leases, and dealing with company formations, company law and commercial matters.



Experience of working in local government is not essential as there will be many opportunities to develop local government understanding.



The working arrangements are flexible.andnbsp; The office base is the Town Hall in Darlington with the opportunity to work from home on an agile basis, in line with the requirements of the team.
