We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Retail Brand Marketing team at Greggs as a Retail Marketing Digital Signage Support Manager.

You’ll be a key member of our team, being responsible for the strategic development, deployment and measurement of all of our digital signage across our ever-expanding retail estate.

Alongside managing an extensive roll out programme, the successful candidate will shape and optimise our digital content strategy and implementation in shop, aligned to our front-page plan, commercial and brand metrics.

About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Newcastle Upon Tyne, Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area

What you’ll do

  • Working across our Customer and Commercial teams, you will be responsible for the development and execution of our digital content strategy in shops, delivered via our window and menu screens and other digital formats as required.

  • Working with our Insight, Performance and Finance teams, you will set up a measurement framework that allows us to understand the impact of our retail digital content and report that back to key stakeholders across the business.

  • On an ongoing basis, you will collaborate with the marketing, category and retail teams to define campaign objectives and translate them into compelling digital campaign assets

  • You will oversee and manage the end-to-end process of creating and deploying digital content across our retail estate incorporating variances to shop format e.g. Drive Thu, pricing, range and customer missions including delivery and Click + Collect. You will own the retail digital content plan - scheduling the deployment of digital content across digital screens, optimising for maximum impact with a clear understanding audience engagement.

  • Manage relationships with external creative and digital agencies to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.

  • Deploy test and learn methods on digital propositions and creative executions to develop the most engaging content across formats – understand the use of animation and seek best practice.

  • Adopt a proactive approach to supporting future digital media development e.g. ticket edging, selector headers and develop a business case to trial and then roll out if investment agreed. Ensuring a cost/benefit analysis is undertaken including any effect on sales as well as Greggs Pledge considerations

  • Deliver a coordinated and measured approach to customer digital messaging – analysing performance metrics and user feedback to refine and improve our content strategy.

  • Acknowledge, understand and realise the media value of the digital signage and opportunities as a potential revenue stream. Agree WOW for third party activity and guidelines for optimum usage of the digital screen estate.

  • Keep updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in digital signage
