Summary
it’s an exciting time to join wagamama as we continue to grow both here in the UK and internationally. having just secured a second central production site, you will be able to make huge impact in quality management here making improvements to ensure product and process quality standards meet wagamama and industry expectations.
this is an on site quality manager position in our central production food manufacturing unit in east acton where all of our sauces + gyozas are made + distributed to our 165+ restaurants globally! you will manage our food safety, H&S, and site suppliers to ensure we achieve and maintain BRC – grade A status.
the role |
• control and implement the quality management system and ensure compliance with all legal and wagamama requirements
• regularly monitor and audit all aspects of the quality management system
• define and maintain product and process specifications and challenge factory processes
• contribute to NPD process, develop and launch products that meet wagamama expectations
• ensure all suppliers meet approval requirements and be responsible for maintaining records to prove BRC certification for all suppliers
• use supplier and raw material knowledge to identify potential/emerging integrity risks throughout the supply chain
• co-ordinate and handle the technical aspects of all visits. liaise with line management in identifying and resolving any potential problem areas
• ensure that all employees are effectively trained. undertake a training need analysis for departmental and individual needs and liaise with teams to achieve objectives
• monitor customer feedback and complaints and ensure that customers’ expectations are met

• food related degree or equivalent experience
• internal auditor qualified
• haccp qualification
• regulatory knowledge + awareness of food legislation
• people management skills
