Summary
SEMH or SEN Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant
Do you want to make a difference? Do you love working with children or vulnerable adults and have a passion for special needs? Do you have a social care background or personal experience supporting SEMH or SEND?
If so, this is the role for you!
You will be joining a fantastic team that predominantly works with children who have a variety of special needs. While a desire to assist in this area is essential, no prior experience is necessary! A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build strong relationships and rapport with individual children, is important.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting children with special needs
- Appropriate qualifications and training
- Willingness to undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service
- Availability to work full-time hours
