We are proud to be working with Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Specialist Community Physiotherapist to join their team based close to Blackpool on the Fylde Coast.



The Trust is situated on the west coast of Lancashire and operates within a regional health economy catchment area that spans Lancashire and South Cumbria, supporting a population of 1.6 million. The Trust is a provider of specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology services across the region.



What will you be doing?



As the Band 7 Specialist Community Physiotherapist, you will be managing a varied and complex caseload, providing highly specialised assessment, treatment, intervention and discharge planning for patients with chronic conditions and diverse health needs. You will also be responsible for the supervision of students and the education and training of other members of staff, as well as staff from other disciplines within the integrated multidisciplinary team. You will manage the allocation and prioritisation of new referrals, and delegate treatment programmes appropriately, in order to successfully triage and manage the therapy caseload.



What do you need?



To be considered for this role, you must hold a state registration and a degree or diploma in Physiotherapy. As well as this, you must also have substantial post registration experience, with a significant amount in a community setting and the NHS. The postholder must also have leadership skills, evidenced by completion of recognised training. The postholder must also have a current UK driving license.
