Summary

We seek an experienced, enthusiastic and organised Contracts Manager to support and build our kitchen and bathroom refurbishment workstream based in Epsom.

You will manage the successful delivery of the contract to the highest quality and customer satisfaction whilst investing and developing a positive and motivated trade team, and supporting the business in maintaining our ROSPA Presidents Award 2021.

The Contracts Manager role:


You will be responsible for managing kitchen and bathroom contracts across the South East.
You will build relationships both internally and externally. We encourage commercial and operational teams to work closely together to ensure the successful delivery of a contract.
You'll see the benefit in managing your own time so that you can visit site regularly to maintain productivity and be in the office to ensure procedures and reports are up to date.
Health and Safety measures will be paramount to you, and you'll ensure they are in place and monitored.


What will you bring as a Contracts Manager?


Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally from within the housing, specifically kitchen refurbishment sector, although we encourage applications from other transferrable backgrounds.
Demonstrable experience in managing direct labour and labour only subcontractors, including development and performance management of a trade-based team.
An SMSTS qualification (preferred) with a sound working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements (essential).
A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
The ability to build successful, partnering working relationships with customers and employees.
An understanding of cost and risk management, also working to budgets.
